In April 2006, we launched a much-needed initiative - A MEMBERS’ VOLUNTEER project 'Gift Your Time' with the objective of offering our members an opportunity to volunteer their time.

OBJECTIVE: To spend some time empowering and educating, imparting a skill to lesser-privileged children residing at children’s shelters and orphanages. These children study in municipal schools, in Hindi or Marathi medium. These schools provide them with no extra-curricular activities, thus severely limiting their growth potential.
Members’ children and college students, in their vacations, are encouraged to give their time under our ‘Gift Your Time’ scheme to visiting orphanages, teaching the children football, chess, the English language, art, music, etc.

To volunteer, you must have the following:
plenty of enthusiasm; love to be around young children (boys/girls in the age of 6-15 years); commitment to the activity undertaken; skill to conduct any of the above mentioned activities; 2-4 hours of your time on a daily or weekly basis.
